Make sure your hair is fully soaked before applying the shampoo. Using luke warm water will give an added advantage as it will open the hair cuticles loosening up the dirt. Take an ideal amount of shampoo and massage gently to your wet hair and scalp till it forms the lather. Rinse off and squeeze out excess water. Apply to wet hair and lather with a massaging motion. Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.
